This year I turned 27.
Its true. 27 years ago I graced the earth with my presence.
And this year I had a blast celebrating that blessed day.
I made a list of 27 things I wanted to do that day. One of the things was let 27 balloons go and make a wish with each one (in lieu of blowing out the traditional candles). So when I woke up my wonderful roommate and friends had 27 red balloons waiting for me.
So Jess and I took those 27 balloons, smashed them into her VW bug, and headed out to LA.

In LA we went straight to a driving range where I hit 27 golf balls.

I guess LA knew it was my birthday because everywhere I went we ran into this sign:
(Clearly it is not for me... but for the wonderful TV phenomenon Glee... which is finally returning to the little screen tonight!)
Following the driving range we went to the Museum of Tolerance. No Camera's allowed.
From there we head to Santa Monica and took our Holga/Diana cameras and took pictures of everything and anything.

Through out the day I let balloons go in various locations.
By the end of the day we were so sick of those balloons attacking us in the car that we found a park to let the rest of them go. But before I got the chance to I saw this smiling face and couldn't resist and decided to spread some of the birthday cheer to some of the kids in the park.
This may have been one of my favorite points of the day.
After the park, we hit the 5 freeway all the way to Anaheim where we met up with these people at the wonderful land of disney.
(Yes I am wearing a fanny pack. If you don't like it you can shove it. But you don't like it... you LOVE it.)
Where this lovely lady:
(Please notice Dusty Monroe in the background. Love that pose)
surprised me with reservations at the Blue Bayou! I have always wanted to eat there and I was SO excited to do so.
After scarfing down some creme brulee
(my first creme brulee mind you... I've always thought of myself as more of a jello kind of girl.)
The girls brought out the goods for the rest of the night.
Including whistles, glowsticks (of course), and these awesome glasses:

We watched Captian Eo which I have been dying to see. And I loved it.
"See you later trash can"
Rode some fun rides. And just had a blast.

It was such a fun day! I think I'll do it again next year.

I think I may have loved your birthday as much as you did! Thanks for letting us celebrate you!! You're awesome.

You always do know how to celebrate a birthday. Serioulsy I didn't know how to party on birthdays until I met you. I know I've already told you but I am sooo unbelievably sorry for not saying happy birthday to one of my favorite girls in the world.
