I can't find

MY CAMERA!

Its driving me crazy.  I had it Tuesday night after 80's dancing and joyfully viewed the pictures before closing my eyes and hitting the pillow.  I woke up in the morning and it is no where to be found.  It has to be somewhere.  But where that place is is still a mystery to me.  Once I find it I will show off all the fun that I had on my birthday week.
And that better happen soon...  Cause Tuesday I will be leaving for Thailand
(that's right... be jealous)
and I do NOT want to be rocking one of these...

while I am there!

Family Fun Time

One of the best things in my life right now is being an aunt.  I am totally one of those annoying girls that loves to talk {Brag} about her niece and nephews. And quite frankly I believe that I have a reason to.  I mean with a face like this...

How could you not?

Well, this is my little buddy Micah.  He joined my sister Amber's family in August and is getting cuter every single day.  At the beginning of March my sister was able to officially adopt him which means that he was finally able to be sealed to their family.  Marched 7th we met up at the Newport Beach Temple to watch Micah be sealed to his parents for time and all eternity. The ceremony was performed by Micah's biological grandfather who had flown out from Hawaii for the occasion. The spirit was so strong and it was evident to all that were in the room that Micah was meant to be in this beautiful family.

But the fun didn't stop after Saturday. As many of you know the Baltzer family not only adopted Micah in August but they also had a baby of their own in January. Dane {the newest little bundle of joy} is just a little tiny buddy still and we are so excited to have him in our lives.  On sunday Dane and the Micah were both blessed at church.

And just so he doesn't feel left out... Check out Saxon.  Can you believe how much he has grown?  He is quite the big brother now.

I just love these three bears.

{Now if we could please just do something about getting my other three munchkins to live a little closer that would be wonderful.  Please. And Thank You.}

Maybe...

...this explains why I have only gotten flowers like maybe three times in my life.

** FYI... Mormons CAN actually send flowers (so its still a mystery why they aren't sent to me) and they definitely can dance.  If you don't believe it just check out Oceans in Laguna Beach on pretty much any given tuesday night.**

Trying to slow it down

My birthday is around the corner and in one week I will be 26. I don't know why but I was driving today and thinking about this and it dawned on me... I am never going to be 25 again. Its not so much that I care that I am getting older... I don't mind turning 26. I just don't want to leave 25. Can't I do both?

25 is just such a great number. I was born on the 25th. Its a square number. It looks nice, sounds nice. There are just so many great things about 25. And its been a great year. Really 25 has been one of my favorites. Right up there with age 15 and 17 (both GREAT years). So I am sad to see 25 go. But I still have one more week of 25 and I am going to live it up while I still can.

Then when next tuesday night comes, after sweating to the oldies (well the 80's actually but you get the point) I will be ready to embrace 26. And who knows... maybe age really is like wine... gets better with time?

Work from Bear Mountain Days

Meet Jessica....

I finally found a snowboarding buddy!  She doesn't work or go to school on fridays so this winter I have been able to take a few "work from bear mountain" days.

My mom came out for various family events (to be blogged about soon) the first week in March and so I took another one of those days to hit the slopes with my mom and sister. It was so fun to be able to spend time with them.

This has been a great snowboarding season.  I will ALMOST be sad to see winter end.

The finale

Although the ending of the Bachelor was less than desirable (to say the least) the girls that I watched it with were nothing below fabulous.  The girls gathered together, grabbed our mock-tails and watched "the most dramatic final rose ceremony ever."  My mondays already feel empty without these girls.

And their always glad you came...

Last weekend I decided to make a last minute trip to the grand canyon state to visit some of my girlfriends. Since I was driving by my lonesome I had to find a way to entertain myself while sitting in traffic for a few hours.

Saturday was an awesome day spent with the girls. We hit the temple in the morning, cafe rio for lunch, and muddy buddies for dinner (I got permission to eat treats for the weekend... its in the girl time claus).

On the drive home I had a lot of time to think, ponder, and you know what. And I decided that there are a few things that I know to be true...

1. Sometimes you really DO want to go where every body knows your name... especially when they are always glad you came.

(I am beginning to feel like a regular in AZ)

2. Taco Bell will forever be the best of all the fast food restuarants.

(I had my first and last experience with Del Taco)

3. Six hours of driving by yourself in a car brings out your true colors.

(Imagine me taking pictures of myself blowing bubbles with my bubbleyum in traffic, or singing along with Les Mesirable on the top of my lungs driving 90 down the 10 freeway)

4. Emily Beesley is possibly the funniest girl that I know.

(If you haven't experienced it for yourself you will never understand)

5. The thing that I treasure most from my college years has nothing to do with my education and everything to do with the best friends that I made while I was there.

(Nuf said)

6. People lied when they said that after the first week of not eating treats it gets easier. The truth is... it doesn't. It never gets easier.

(Hence the Muddy Buddies)

7. I will forever and always not like dogs. They are scary and hairy.

(I may have been attacked by a dog while taking a stroll)

8. The Mormon world is tiny.

(At a party I ran into a guy that I have not seen since my freshman year in college. Neither of us live in Arizona)

9. Photo enforced radars every mile on the freeway are a gift from satan himself.

(I am not exaggerating)

10. Although my life is in Golden State a small part of my heart belongs in Gilbert Arizona.

Conversation hearts

This year I spent Valentines Day with one of my favorite boys in the whole world...

Our house... in the middle of our street.

One day this past November my roommate Laura and I were sitting in our little apartment in CDM freezing our butts off.  As we watched the wind blow through our closed windows we decided that maybe it was time for us to start looking for a new place to live.  So I went to my good friend craigslist and after a few short weeks we found the perfect place and a new perfect roommate.  Come December we were moving in... and we have been LOVING it ever since.   Let me give you a tour...

So at the beginning of February we decided the throw a little get together in order to help us break in our new home.  My friend Emily took some pictures for us... she is starting up her photography portfolio and is a talented young lady.  If you have any picture taking needs let me know and I can pass on her information...
