Mari's Birthday Celebration

Oh, how I love miss Mari Blomberg.  She is one of my favorite things about working at Olivecrest.  So when it was time for Mari's birthday we gave her the option to pick what kind of international food we partook in that day.  Being the "all american" girl that she is she choose Ruby's.

Emily and the Birthday Girl

Refugio couldn't be more excited about eating American food.

Ebony and Ivory

Emily admires Refugio as he gives me his usual dirty look.

But the birthday celebration didn't end there.  That Saturday we continued the fun at the Beverly Hills Hotel where we enjoyed lunch near the pool and mixing with all the beautiful people. This is one of Mari's favorite places and I was excited to finally see the place that she talked so much about.

Mari is one of the lucky few that I would wear these heels for...

And this is why...
After touring the hotel for an hour or so my foot decided to tell me it was done wearing those shoes.  My foot was totally twitching and it was making me laugh so hard that I had to sit down.

Twins separated at birth.
This guy was the happiest person that I have ever met in my whole life.  There needs to be more people like Radalpho.

Lunch was fabulous (of course) but this is the only picture that we got before we were told there are no pictures allowed in public places (does that sound weird to anyone else).

After the hotel we tried to catch the Beverly Hills Trolley but we got there too late. So instead we headed to Diddy Reese (a.k.a Heaven Earth)

Mari... You are fabulous and I love you to pieces!
