Birthday Encore...

I am not going to lie, the day after my birthday I usually get a little birthday postpartum. Its like there is all this hype about your birthday and then BAM... its over.  But this year was different. The day after my birthday was almost just as good.  I got to spend it with my little buddy.  My sister was off canoeing with the young women so me and the little guy got to spend the day together while Tad worked.  It was a fun filled day.  

We went on a bike ride... which consisted of me riding the bike and him sleeping in the back.  I think this picture was taken seconds before he crashed (sleeping wise-we didn't really crash). 

 

But then he was up and ready to play the rest of the day. 

So we met up with Melissa and Jack at the Mall for a fun play date.  Which turned out to be more of a fun play date for April and Melissa then Jack and Saxon... But I think they still liked it. 

 

Got their vans on but they look like sneakers... 

That night my good friend Holly invited a few girls to come to dinner to celebrate yet again.

There is far to much smoke in this picture for my comfort.  Ekk... This year I am feeling good. But next year I might start counting down.  24?  I could re-do that year.

It was another fun day!  And the birthday fun ended there and I was okay with it.  I am really excited about 25. I feel really good about this year.  I felt good about 2008... but I am going to be completely honest that it started out pretty rough.  So I felt like my birthday this year was like new years and I could start the year over again. And so far it has been really great.  There are a lot of fun things to look forward too!
