Just some stuff

1. I've been really into fanny packs lately. Go ahead- judge me. I like them. They are functional and just kind of awesome. There may have been a debut of a fanny pack or two in my wardrobe this week... Pictures to come.

2. I am currently obsessed with a lot of great music. This is one of my fav's for the time being.

3. I am sure you all heard of Urban Dictionary but in case you haven't its basically a website that gives definitions of Slang. So for example if you need to know the definition of the word "stellar" you would find the definition: a word used when something is most excellent.

Anyway... I looked up the word April. Among the many options of definitions this one was my favorite.

APRIL: A cool name, given to a girl. Appears to contain the magical property of forcing others to ask the same question when it is first heard, regardless of good sense.
"Hey, what's your name?"
"April."
"Oh, so were you born in April?"
"Shut up."

Its funny! Its funny cause its SO true.

4. There is a lot on my wish list right now. Sometime soon I will share all the gems that I wish to have in my presence but tonight I am just too tired.

Good Night Moon.

True Blue Through and Through.

Last Saturday I joined all the other mormons in Southern California on the trek down to San Diego to watch the BYU-Cougars defeat the SDSU-Azteks.
It was a fun famiyl affair. My cute parents were in town for a work meeting and my uncle and cousin live in Anaheim so we all decked ourselves out in the usual blue and white to rise and shout for the Cougs.

Mid-Way through the game I ran into Jessica's Mom in the hallway. They were having their own family affair just one section over.

The coolest part of the game was that my Dad got some bench pass (i don't know what they are really called) and we got to watch a part of the game on the field!

I know... you should be jealous.

I met up with these fun girls for a ride back up to the OC.

I have a confession.

For many years

(and I do mean many),

I sort of made fun of cougar fans.

(don't blaim me... I am a Seasider)

But it was at this last game that I found that I was not only cheering for the blue and white but I actually was really excited about. Turns out I am now a Coug-Fan. I guess my Dad really is rubbing off on me.

Here's to a great season!

I really, really, really want these

Looks like I might have to pour out
my piggy bank and see if there are any
extra pennies in there.

Lovely Day

It was very hard to wake up today!
When my alarm clock went off I just knew that it was wrong.
But then I remembered that after work today I am going here...

And it gave me the motivation to jump right out of bed, tie my sneakers up and head out the door for a jog, and start my day. I am so excited to see what kind of Halloween festivities Disney to offer tonight!

I want to bring a fanny pack. But I don't know where to get one.
Does anyone have any ideas??

I hope you all have a very lovely day.

::Come on lets cruise::

Two weekends ago I found myself on a boat sailing the pacific ocean with two of the most fabu girls that I know. The weekend was amazing... From the "high class" people aboard this carnival cruise to the ever so lovely local of Ensenada Mexico... it was full of laughs from start to finish.

Warning: There are a lot of pictures and this is a very narcissistic post. But hey... when you really think about it, aren't all blogs and blog post? I mean really... this blog is all about me.

The time we spent aboard the boat we enjoyed wearing stars and strips while sipping on some non-alcoholic beverages while our fellow cruise mates got sloshed.
Eating lots and lots of food. As well as lounging with our books and blankets.
Going dancing in leather pants.
Singing Karoake in wigs, playing games at the dining table with our super drunk tablemates, "hanging" out in our cabin, and once again supporting our country.

Contemplating riding the slide.
Then taking the plunge.

Dressing up for dinner time and having fun in the library with a camera.

When we finally arrive to our destination

We jumped for joy

Then took more pictures.

Ate yummy ice cream

and played around the town.

We rented scooters and toured the area. We found wal-mart. Very exotic.

Morgan had a little accident.

We found the beach and had some laughs playing in the sun.

All in all... I must say the weekend filled me with elation.
I would definitely do it again.
(as long as it was just as cheap)

Trader Joes

Who doesn't love trader joes?
I mean seriously. The place is amazing.
All their food is great, the prices even better,
and don't get me started on my love for free samples.
Who could ask for more? Well the great store just got even greater.
I just discovered this little gem...

An entire cookbook dedicated to the store. All ingredients can be found at TJ's for a one stop shop grocery trip. I do not yet own this book but it is definitely in my amazon shopping cart. For more info click here.
