Put Salt Lake on the map, when we all do the mormon rap.

Conference weekend came and this year the whole Goose-ta-fa-son family came together in the land of zion to enjoy in the conference festivities.

The fun started at the BYU campus where we did some rising and shouting in order to cheer on the cougars to victory.

Preparation for the game consisted of:

Family pictures at the cougar (embarrassing right? Wrong. Couldn't be prouder)

Getting pumped up with my two favorite twins.

Eating delicious food in the legacy tent.

Saturday morning the whole fam headed down to Thanksgiving Point to enjoy their fall festival celebration called the cornbelly. It had a pumpkin patch, slides, corn mazes, pig races, jump houses, and hours and hours of fun.

This was attempt 2 at taking family pictures. We struggle.

That night I got to meet up with some of my favorite girls in the whole world. Cheesecake factory has never been so good.

Sunday morning I woke up to thunder and lightening followed by a rain storm. Once again... I can't reiterate my love for the fall more. Thank you umbrellas, sweaters, and boots.

We weathered the storm and headed to the conference center where we were able to here this talk:

From these seats:

With these people:

And then we tried for some more Gustavson Family Foto's.

So like I said... Family isn't it about time?

Morgan's Birthday

Morgan had birthday at the end of September and I couldn't be more grateful that she did. Because she was born I was able to have a lovely evening in order to celebrate her.

We started the evening out my taking a cruise around Newport Harbor in a duffy boat. We shared some sandwiches, grapes, and toasted to the birthday girl with some sparkling cider.

(first of many pictures of the three of us upon a boat)

Alice turns 9!!

Many of you have had the oppurtunity of meeting my parent partner- Alice. Well, the end of September we celebrated Alice's 9th year of sobriety.

Can I get a whoop whoop?!

To celebrate, some co-workers and I went to her CA meeting and watched her recieve her cake and listen to her tell her part of her story.

(ignore the fact the that I look beat... just enjoy the greatest of this day for her)

Everyone needs an alice in their life. She is the most honest person that I know. She is an incredible women and a great example of strength and courageous.
I am so proud of you Alice!

A little sunshine from down under...

My good friend Stephanie was in town all the way from the land down under. She recently moved to Australia where she married the love of her life. (Don't worry... they met in Costa Rica while I was there on vacation with her... NBD) She came in town and we wanted to take this time to celebrate her recent marriage with a few close friends and family. It was so great to see her and celebrate the beginning of her new family!

Day of my life...

The last few weeks have been fabulously busy.
Its time to catch all you beautiful people up on the latest and greatest events of my life.
So hold on and prepare yourself for a whole lot of April.

Family

Isn't it about time?

Don't hate us cause you ain't us.
(and don't hate us for being ultimate mormons)
This picture brings so much joy to my heart for a number of reasons

1. Only Jason actually went to BYU.
(with the exceptions of Ma and Pa)
And the rest of us are only really fans by default.
2. Luke looks like a thugish-ruggish bone in his beanie.
3. Jason looks like he is posing for his high school senior portrait.
4. Tad is the social outcast stuck behind the cougar.
5. I am front and center just being as single as ever.
6. This is the ultimate Mormon picture.
and we are not normally the typical mormon family.
8. It was cold enough that I got to wear boots.
9. Not one of the babies are looking at the camera.
10. I couldn't love my family more.

Not your usual bookshelf

Once upon a time I got this cute suitcase type thing.

I have wanted to use it in my room decor for sometime now but I couldn't ever figure out how.

Until I came up with this...

Its not your usual bookcase and I love it.

The End.
"In everything give thanks"
