Can't touch this...

See!  I knew he was way Too Legit to Quit!! Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer are doing a reunion tour in Utah the last weekend in February.  Interesting that they choose Utah to do their reunion... Someone must have spread the word that Mormon girls can't help but love a black man in Hammer pants and every Mormon guy secretly wishes he was Vanilla Ice.
With that said... I just might be planning a road trip out there just to see them....

Responsibility. What's that?

Today while I was driving to school the view of the mountains looked a little something like this...

It took everything for me to not turn the car around, grab my snowboard, and head out to here...

But I didn't.  I kept driving and ended up here...

Growing up is over-rated.

My latest obsession

I don't really like watching TV. But I have to be honest that there are a few shows that I am OBSESSED with. It wasn't until about two weeks ago that I came across this gem of a show. First few weeks I was a casual watcher but now I am hooked. America's Best Dance Crew is my new favorite. This was my favorite of the dances last week.

My life is now complete

Today I was rekindled with a long lost love of mine.  I have never been much of a soda drinker but while I was going to school in Idaho I feel in love with Dr. Pepper.  Since I don't drink caffeine I had been missing out on the delicious taste of this carbonated drink until I moved to the small town of Rexburg where they sell just about every soda in a non-caffeinated form.  From my first sip of this wonderful drink I knew instantly that it would be my favorite.  I have many fond memories of late night prank calls, eating popcorn, and drinking Caffeine Free Diet Dr. Pepper.  Although I was ecstatic to get out of the freezing tundra of Rexburg when it came time to transfer to Hawaii it I was sad to leave this drink behind. Knowing that it was most likely not going to be sold anywhere outside of Utah and Idaho I tried to stock up on as much as I could.  Now keep in mind, I am not much of a soda drinker in the first place.
So why am I blogging about this you might ask.... Well its because today as I was searching for peanut butter in the isles of the local albertsons my eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar red and gold color box.  As a took a second look I was more than thrilled to see the beautiful words: Dr. Pepper, Diet, and Caffeine Free!  I bought the whole case (and am tempted to go back and buy more just in case this is a temporary ordeal).  I am finally reconnected with my long lost friend.  Here's to you Mr. Pepper.

This was one of my tender mercies of the week.

Happy Birthday Shebogee

Saturday was Saxon's second birthday.  I seriously can't express how much I love this little guy.  With his big blue eyes and gigantic smile he can warm just about any heart.

Micah was having a blast at Saxon's party at the park.  He is my Rollie-Pollie.  I can't get enough of him.

Happy Birthday little buddy!

Welcome home little man

Five days after Dane was born they were able to bring him home.

Saxon was ready to love this little guy the minute he walked through the door.

"Hello World... here I am!!"

Being an Aunt is seriously the best job in the world.

Welcome to the world!

Two weeks ago on  January 24th I was woken up at 4:30 to a phone call from my sister Amber saying she thought she needed to go to the hospital because she thought that maybe she was going into labor. I jumped out of bed, ran to my car, and ten minutes later found myself in Huntington Beach.  Saxon, Micah, and I played together as we waited patiently to hear that the newest member of the Baltzer family had arrived.  Around 3:30 Tad called to inform us that after a crazy day at the hospital including an emergency C-section Dane Stanley Baltzer had finally arrived.  Its only been two weeks and this boy is already loved by so many!

My sister Jule came all the way from Hawaii to come see this special little buddy while he was still in the hospital.
